Warning tapes
BS ISO 3864-1 states that obstacles along escape routes including wall projections, pillars, and obstructing filaments, shall be marked with the appropriate warning markings. This alerts people to be cautious of certain obstacles, especially important when attempting to escape during an emergency evacuation. These obstacles must be marked with black and yellow chevron markings. JALITE photoluminescent self-adhesive vinyl tape has is a proven strong and durable marker. During an emergency evacuation, our tape allows evacuees to avoid obstacles and escape safely in all lighting conditions.
JALITE floor marking self-adhesive tape and non-adhesive barrier marking tapes are also available. These tapes can be used for marking obstacles or obstructions, or limit occupation of a particularly hazardous space. Responsible persons can then manage the risk of injury and harm and ensure the safety of occupants.
