This material is rigorously tested to meet requirements of DIN 67 510 Part 4, for the best and proven luminance performance on the market. JALITE photoluminescent IMO signs including lifeboat, assembly station and more, are designed to conform to BS EN ISO 7010:2020, and therefore meet IMO resolution A.1116 (30). JALITE photoluminescent marine IMO safety signs also conform to BS 1SO 3864-1:2011 for safety colours and design.
JALITE photoluminescent FCS marine safety signs including a class fire door, emergency fire pump, sprinkler section valve, conform to ISO 17631:2002.
JALITE marine signage is manufactured predominately in photoluminescent vinyl but can be printed onto rigid material if specified. Our marine safety signs can be installed with coatings, to protect the signs installed in adverse conditions at sea. Each JALITE sign has a unique code number, after the sign code you will see the size code as shown in the example below.
JALITE offer a range of sign types, single sided, panoramic signs, double-sided wall mounted signs and double-sided hanging signs.
The expected viewing distance of a safety sign is described according to the Z factor. The Z factor is the ratio of the viewing distance divided by the sign height (graphical symbol height plus geometric shape according to BS EN ISO 7010:2020 image) - Direct line of sight.
