JALITE photoluminescent stairway and floor safety signs are now installed in many high-rise residential buildings after Grenfell. Stairway and floor management safety signs are specified in the newly amended Approved Document B, to help emergency services and residents locate themselves in the building. This is vital during an emergency evacuation where evacuees will need to escape from the building to a place of relative safety.
